Viewer discretion - The museum building in the center of Luleå is closed for renovation.
At Storgatan 2 you will find the museum's premises for exhibitions, program activities, café and shop. The building is centrally located in Luleå, in Hermelinsparken.
Here you will find timetables and prices for visiting us by bus. Get off at the Varvet stop.

The museum is located in Hermelinsparken and has no guest parking. Street parking with a parking fee applies.
At Höstvägen 7 in the area of Björkskatan in Luleå, the Norrbotten Museum's activities are image archives, collections, archaeology, buildings, ethnology and photography.
Here you can also visit the museum's archives, library and research hall, which together with Norrbotten's Association Archives form the Norrbotten Archive Center.
You will find us in the same building as Björkskatan's Health Centre. Entrance through the main entrance.
Here you will find the timetable and prices for visiting us by bus. Get off at the Björkskatan Centrum stop.
Drive along the Björkskataleden and take the Väderleden. At the second exit on the left, turn onto Höstvägen. Drive all the way to Björkskatan's Health Centre. Free visitor parking is available.
You do not have to pay admission to the Norrbotten Museum and the Norrbotten Archives Center.
All of our talks and program activities are free to attend.
There is free internet that you can connect to through the RN-Guest network. To connect to the network, you must enter your mobile number to receive a code to log in with. You must agree to the terms and conditions when you connect your device.
In the museum building in the center of Luleå there is a cozy cafe. There you can buy coffee, tea or soft drinks as well as some delicious pastries or a good sandwich.
Right now the cafe is closed due to the museum building being renovated.
In our shop you will find gifts and souvenirs, which in different ways reflect Norrbotten's culture and traditions. There is also a large selection of books about and from Norrbotten.

In all our premises, there are toilets near the reception or cloakroom. There are toilets adapted for the disabled.
In all our premises there are changing rooms where you can hang up your outer clothes. There are also lockable lockers where you can lock your things.
At the Norrbotten museum in Luleå center there is a toilet with a changing table. If you visit us with a pram, you can park it in the changing room outside the toilet.
No animals except guide dogs are allowed at the Norrbotten Museum and Norrbotten Archives Center.
You may photograph and film in the museum's exhibitions unless it is for commercial purposes and unless otherwise specified.

Outside all of our entrances there is car parking for the disabled.
Outside all of our entrances there is a ramp with handrails. The ramps lack anti-slip protection and can therefore become slippery if it rains.
There is a lift in all buildings where we conduct business.
Outside the entrances there is grass and trees, including birches.
In the museum cafe, you can buy gluten-free and lactose-free coffee. The cafe is currently closed due to renovation of the museum building.
The museum's exhibitions have text in Swedish and English. In the event room where we arrange lectures, there is a hearing loop. In the café, you can plug in a portable hearing loop.
