Since the beginning of the year, an extensive renovation has been underway in the museum building. The house is currently a construction site and closed to visitors. Norrbotten's museum is therefore canceling the traditional Christmas market in December 2024. The reason is that it is not possible to offer exhibitors and visitors the opportunity to enter the building and warm up, have coffee in the cafe, visit toilets and other facilities. We care about everyone's safety, experience and well-being and have therefore made this decision.
While the museum building is closed, Norrbotten's museum is active around the county and in collaboration with other actors. Information about the touring arrangements and exhibitions can be found here on the museum's website and in social media.
