Religious scholar Simon Sorgenfrei lectures on how views on Islam have changed in Sweden.

In his new book "Open Your Hearts", Simon Sorgenfrei has traveled from Bjuv to Kiruna and through meetings with refugees as well as with Sweden Democrats, with secular as well as fundamentalist Muslims, he describes the last fifty years in Sweden. The goal is to describe Islam in contemporary Sweden and to tell about Swedish integration policy.

Simon Sorgenfrei is a professor of religious studies and director of the Institute for Research on Multi-Religiosity and Secularity (IMS) at Södertörn University.
