About Elisabet and Bengt Martinsson

The couple have been folk dancers for a long time. Bengt has been a dance instructor at national and district level, and he has also recorded dance and music in Norrbotten from the 1960s onwards. Together with Vifast Björklund, the couple have made many trips to the county to document the costume tradition, and through the Folkdansringen Övre Norrland they have published a number of dance and costume books, as well as the book Vaimoo oon koin auain - Something about key hooks in Tornedalen.
