Welcome to an information meeting with a storytelling café where you can suggest places, buildings or environments in Arvidsjaur municipality that you think are important and should be preserved. Your knowledge can help to make the municipality's cultural heritage visible and preserved for future generations.
The evening begins with a short presentation of the project. This is followed by a storytelling café where you have the opportunity to talk about places that you think are important in the municipality. Perhaps you would like to mention a place that should be included in the mapping? Or you would like to share a story that is important for a particular place. We will offer you coffee!
Participants: Sophie Nyblom, ethnologist, Erica Duvensjö, building antiquarian and Kristin Lång, building antiquarian. The evening is organized in collaboration with the municipality of Arvidsjaur.
Norrbotten Museum will map cultural environments in the municipality in 2025. Arvidsjaur Municipality will use the data in future planning and to disseminate knowledge about important cultural and historical sites. The project is partly financed by the County Administrative Board.
